Updates to the factline Community Server (FCS)
|
|
|
factinclude in epoz text editor, predefined text input method, ... |
|
| | |
|
The newest updates can be found in the News section on the customer platform (German) or in English below.
Name of the fact in browser title
With this feature now available, the fact currently opened will have
its title proudly displayed in the title bar at the very top of your
browser window. This makes it much easier for your platform to be
found by search engines which in turn generates more traffic to your
site and potentially more customers. Users of "tabbed browsing" will also find it easier because the fact title will be displayed on the tab.
Predefined text editor method
Users may now define, in their user settings, which fact editing method
comes up by default. For instance, choosing the epoz-facttext
editor to be displayed first instead of HTML mode. This choice
can also be left to platform administrators to choose the default input
method for any user on their platform.
Factinclude button in epoz-facttext editor
While factinclude was always possible for those with advanced HTML
knowledge, it has now been made as easy as clicking a button. All
the way on the right side is a new button in the epoz-facttext editor
which activates another window to pop up allowing you to choose which
fact you would like included. Then you have the choice of which
fields to insert and after clicking "Include fact", your chosen fact
will be included in your new text.
Folder structure now more visible
When viewing a folder or inserting a factlink, it is now possible to
view the entire folder structure of the platform in the left
frame. The uppermost folders are shown by default but lower
folders may be found by clicking the "+" to expand and display inner
folders.
We are always happy to receive any feedback you have about these
updates or other matters. You may submit your ideas, problems,
etc. to the customer platform forum, or contact us directly.
